Code of Conduct

Canopy is a place for every family to feel safe, welcome, and free to explore. Visiting means agreeing to a few shared expectations.

• —Every child must be accompanied and actively supervised by an adult; every adult must be accompanied by a child.
• —Treat people, exhibits, and staff with care. Running, rough play, and climbing on non-climbable exhibits aren’t permitted.
• —Canopy is a weapon-free environment.
• —We are proudly inclusive — harassment or discrimination of any kind ends a visit.
• —Staff may ask anyone whose behavior endangers others to leave, without refund.

Health & Safety

We work to keep the cars clean, safe, and welcoming for 140,000 visitors a year.

• —Canopy is not an allergen-free facility; food is present in the Station Café and party rooms. Please tell staff about severe allergies.
• —Hand-washing and sanitizing stations are throughout the building; soft-play areas are cleaned daily.
• —Re-entry is allowed the same day with a hand stamp.
• —Photography for personal use is welcome. By entering, you consent to appear in occasional Canopy media; tell a staff member if you’d prefer not to be photographed.

Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to admit you, process gifts and memberships, and stay in touch when you ask us to.

• —We collect contact and payment details for tickets, memberships, donations, and field-trip bookings, and email addresses for our newsletter.
• —We never sell or rent your personal information.
• —Payment is processed by a PCI-compliant provider; we don’t store full card numbers.
• —Our site uses minimal cookies for basic analytics; you can opt out in your browser.
• —To see, correct, or delete your data, email privacy@canopydiscovery.org.
