By transit
- Metra Electric to 55th–56th–57th St, a 6-minute walk east.
- CTA bus #6 Jackson Park Express and #2 Hyde Park stop at the door.
- Green Line to Garfield, then the #55 bus east.
By car
- On-site lot off Lake Shore Drive — $12 flat, free for members.
- Accessible spaces by the main entrance; EV chargers in row C.
- GPS: enter “Canopy Discovery Center, 4200 S Lake Shore Dr.”
By bike or foot
- Two Divvy docks within a block; covered bike racks at the south entrance.
- Directly on the Lakefront Trail — roll right up from the path.
School buses
- Buses unload in the dedicated bay on the north side.
