There is a light that exists only between states — after the sun has gone but before the dark has arrived. It belongs to neither day nor night, and it will not wait. The series is made entirely inside that hour, one exposure at a time, while the day releases the structure it has held since morning.
I do not chase the moment of it. I hold the frame open across the whole transition and let the colour change through the glass. What remains is not an instant but a duration — the place, slowly forgetting the day.
