A room that has outlived its use does not become nothing. It becomes a vessel — a held shape waiting for light it no longer receives. The series photographs interiors after the work in them has ended: the rooms as containers for an absent purpose.
Held long enough, an empty interior stops reading as abandoned and starts reading as kept. The exposure does the keeping. What the room can no longer hold for itself, the open shutter holds for it.

An empty room is not silent. It is a held breath, waiting for the exposure to release it.
